#Chris

Hailing from Whaley Bridge in the United Kingdom’s beautiful Peak District, Chris has been living and working in New Zealand for over 15 years, first in Taupō, now in Porirua.

Chris comes from a family of electricians. His experience is vast and includes work in the domestic, industrial and commercial spaces.

Chris started #Electrical back in 2015 with a goal to provide customers with a modern, sustainable and efficient electrical service that exceeds their expectations. . What started as a small business has grown over the years, but Chris makes sure #Electrical’s core values remain unchanged.

#Alistair

As #Electrical’s first ever employee, Ali is our most senior electrician and an integral part of the company – doing everything from quoting work to supporting our apprentices.

Originally from Telford in the United Kingdom, Ali completed his electrical apprenticeship in 2009. With over a decade in the trade – and vast experience in the domestic and commercial spaces – Ali made the shift to Wellington in 2018, before settling in the Kāpiti Coast earlier this year.

Ali claims he’s a huge football fan but admits to supporting Aston Villa, which he says can be testing sometimes.

#Joshua

Josh is #Electrical’s OG apprentice. Josh grew up in Surrey, where he completed a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration before coming to New Zealand.

Josh has now swapped the books for the tools and is in his third year of an electrical apprenticeship. Prior to joining the #Electrical whānau, Josh worked as a Barista where he won awards for his customer service – skills he brings to his role at #Electrical.

Outside of work, Josh enjoys camping, playing poker and board game nights with his mates.
